My friend just bought some 400ex hubs for his 200x ATC. He said they mounted right up. It extended his axle length about 2"
Would those hubs work on my 85' 250R atc? Would you recommend it?

I dont believe that. 400EX ones are the same as R's I was under the impression of. 250R will NOT fit on any year 200x or 350x so take it from there....

umm, atcryder, im going against you on this one, i have an 01 400ex, and my friend has an 85 200x, we switch tires and rims all the time. due to me having racing versions of tires since i race, and him having mud and slick tires for normal riding. i beleive that the 400ex has the same hubs as the 250r, and almost all honda splines on axles are the same, even the later 90's had the same spline pattern as the 400ex( i know this cuz i used my 90's tires last year in the winter, and the smaller hubs made the tires closer for better cornering on slick ice).

I bought a set of 300ex hubs to put the +1" on my 350X. They do not fit, they have the smaller splines. Should fit the 200x, I have not tried them yet.
