Beware of anyone that is quick to offer specific jet size suggestions on the internet.
Find out what main your machine ran stock for your elevation. Buy some jets that are a couple sizes rich and some jets that are a couple sizes lean. Start out with the richest jet and work your way down until your plug starts looking chocolate to sandy brown after a few 3/4-WOT pulls.
In all honesty though, if your machine is mostly stock, stick with the stock carb. The jetting advice still applies.

Ya i get a ton of 350x carb jetting questions in pm's I will never give jetting recomendations. Every bike is diffrent along with riding conditions. Although i might be spot on, you need to learn how to jet on your own.

I like the FCR but its overkill for a stock engine. A 400ex carb is a good setup for that. FCR is only needed for built ass motors.

all right thanks guys. now earlier to day my throttle started sticking pretty hard so i took the carb off and every thing to see if the needle was bent and that was fine and the throttle cable had a bend in it ever so slightly so i didnt think it would be enought to make it stick i put it back together and it does not stick any more.. but now the idle is super high i havnt had time to play with it had to go to work, but could it be because the throttle needs to be readjusted? i didnt mess with the idle screw or anything when i took it off not sure why it idles so high now.

Check to see how much freeplay you have on your throttle. If there isn't any, then you need to adjust your throttle cable till you do. Of course see if adjusting your idle makes any difference too. It sounds like a Clymer manual may help you out.
