This is just a feeler. I have a good friend that owns a shop that makes mold for boats, cars and motorcycles. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in
doing carbon fiber on their trikes? I have spoken to him and he wants to see my plastic from my z to see if he can replicate them. I was gona ask if we get group purchase together we can get the cost way down. So far this is just in the "lets see if it can be done faze"

thanks for reading

Your gonna have to throw a price out for say like 5 sets, so peeps know ballpark. Then discount as orders (I sugggest deposits) come in.

All I can say is good luck. Carbon fiber is expensive and has to be hand-laid which drives the cost up even more. Also, carbon fiber is a very poor choice for anything seeing offroad use being that it has a tendency to shatter upon impact. Then you'll prolly have 10 people say they'll commit, only to have 7 of them back out after you've had 10 sets made. Just something to think about.

Yep. I've been involved in "feelers" for tecate stuff. Folks get pretty excited when it's just window shopping. Very few actually end up bringing money to the cash register.

We will be having another run of Maier Tri-Z plastic run again later this spring.

Not to walk on the real "Carbon Fiber" shroud plan of yours, we just need more made.
As always we will have them made in multiple colors, and if there is interest, I will have a few sets run in the Carbon Fiber look if it will help out.
Here is a pic of the CF look they make.
