You are hereby required to retype that using punctuation. I'll settle for four commas, a few capital letters, and five or six periods.

Sorry, I don't type well at all, so to speed things up for me i drop punctuation.

And that's just the way it is!!

He bought a blaster. He thinks it was a cruddy 4 wheeler, it had a 2 stroke motor at first. Turns out after all it was cruddy; he had it blown up in 30 minutes after he got it home. He bought a crate motor for it off of Egay (ebay). He put it in and said; "Here you go sweety" referring to his daughter who is 17 years of age. She was very happy. But one thing happened... She made a HUGE mistake and him as well; They let her boyfriend (assuming that's what he means by GUY FRIEND), ride the cruddy Blaster 2 stroke with a 4 stroke motor in it. Well needless to say, they tore it up. Should he rebuild it, or should he just buy another crummy motor off of EGAY(ebay). Hope that helps!

Yeah, Tupac quote! Man, whatever happened to gangsta rap?

But in all seriousness, blasters are cheap to rebuild. Buuuuuut, a modded 200X engine in a blaster would be a great little quad.

I would stick with the 2 stroke 200 over the 200x, But it may deoend on where you plan on riding. Are you going to the trails or the dunes?

it never had a fourstroke in it . it would be mostly trail ridding but with a dune trip here and there. 200x mod sounds good to me.

You want to rebuild the original motor..

You want to tell the guy friend get his own @#@#^ quad.

You want to tell "Sweety".. Get out here your hands are getting dirty.. and make her tear it down.. Hand her one philips, one flattip and a metric wrench set. If she is small framed, with little strength, hand her a small cheater bar as well, so she doesnt try useing a hammer.

I wanted to do this for a while, and even bought a 200 LIFAN for it. But I got a good deal on a 300EX and never got around to put the 4 stroke LIFAN in the Blaster.
IMHO, it would be 1,000 times better with a good, 4 stroke engine in there (I also have four 2 strokes guys, so no bashing). The LIFAN has about the same H.P. as the Blaster engine but with tons of more torque (let's just say that blaster engines are not known for it's torque), is electric start, is cheap and it will fit in the chassis. You will need a battery bracket (it can be easily fabricated on the location of the stock oil bottle). Engine mounts will need to be made and the whole thing re-wired (no biggie, just get the $25 wiring and you'll be all set). 1 more thing, you'll need to change the countershaft sprocket for a 520 chain. Among other things.

Go ahead and do it if you really want to. Everybody will tell you their opinions, some are biased, some are not. Me, I'm just an objective kind of guy. I think it's its a great project. Look at this way, Yamaha realized this and did the same thing, it's called the RAPTOR 250. Why not do it with a blaster???

goat was right-if you want people to take the time to read what you right-keep it WAYYYY short or use punctuation (even if it is inserted after the fact).

its a common courtesy to other members, please observe it.

and a blaster trike with an XR200 6 speed motor would be a BEAST

seen a blaster on CL that had a 350 warrior in it! i asked the kid if he did the swap and what he had to do ( i have a 2001 blaster that sits in the corner was thinking about doing) he said the tank needed to be raised like 1/2" other then that bolted right in!

i only seen a pic so other then that i'm going by what he told me.

This Is the engine I would put In It. YZ250F These little motor's are Mean! They need an oil tank though.

You could add a stock YFZ oil tank like I did on this one.

That would be more than enough to get the job done. I see plenty of YZ250Fs here. I would be concerned about the poor little chassis holding up to that motor though.
Jason, is that motor in a 250X? I was contemplating doing the same swap.

Ninja It's a YFZ450 In a 88 TRX250R frame. I have really taken a liking to the Yamaha engine's :D
A Blaster with a 250f sounds fun!!! A bit longer swinger, and I think It would be cool.

a warriors faulty wiring burned down my uncles house...

props on the creativity though, just much better engines could have been used for probably less money (250x/300ex/anything xr/anything 2 stroke 125+/cb engines/ninja 250/500 engines, etc...).
