85 to 86 interchangeability

I am starting a project with an 85 250r frame (thats all i ahve right now, with excepting of gas tank, foot pegs, and front fender), so other then the brakes and back end what all parts are interchangeable. and what parts do I need to watch out for? Thanks for any help.

would an 86 motor work by chance?

Great little bididng war we had goin on that 85 (you bought off a real nice fella too)!

Yes an 86 Engine will fit, and i believe the 86/87 trx;s should too (correct me if im wrong someone).

I had no idea, kinda made me mad, but there was a frame with front end and plastic that ends in 11 hours I bid on it and i really hope I get it, witch one were you bidding on? I just lost the fram and gas tank with fender in a matter of minutes. :booty: :yup:

that was me (ATCRYDER) on the frame witht he rear brake elver & skdi plate (85 model)...the guy who was passing 40% off of shipping onto his bidders.
