my atc70 tank has soo much rust in it. i know theres all kinds of solvents and coating to "fix" this but really, the rust is still there. was wondering if anyone has any tech to get rid of the rust, physicaly. i was thinking making a big rocktumbler type turning thing and putting rocks and rough sand to scrape it off. or maybe paint shaker with same stuff inside. another idea ill have to try.

I've used the Por-15 kit and it worked great. My old 250sx tank was so rusted I had to weld a few spots on the bottom. After the weld job I used the 3 step kit and it came out looking like new.

What I do is use a rust convert to stop the rust. Then seal the tank to stop the converted rust flakes from clogging fuel system.
I use a top quality converter. that says spray, whait 24 hr wash with water. converts and protects.

I used sheet metal screws to break all the rust lose by shaking them inside the tank. Then I use the tank liner kit. I think it was called Kreem.;)

Just take off the tank and put some gravel, pebbles, etc in there and shake the $hit out of it and wash it out. Rust will be gone.
