Umm, the 86 you can just plug in a Dynatek programeable rev box for the 400ex. And thats not anything new. Ignition mods are not the BEST power adder for the 350x, High compression will give you a TON more than ignition.
its about $250, comes wiht 4 programeable settings, That you can switch between. for $99 you can get the software to make custom curves.
Never been a fan of the MSD sutff for the bikes. the stuff really isnt up to par with other like products.
The Dynatek also has no Battery to go dead and you cant ride.

So when you buy the dyna that fits the 400ex and plug it into your 350x...it might run but it’s not going to run very good! Here is what I have found...
Ok for starters the 400es stock curve runs from 8 degrees at 100 rpms, at 2500rpms it jumps to 17 degrees...then at 3700rpms it flat lines at 28 degrees.... that’s where the problem is.... the 400 ex has the pktwt of a full 28 degrees...
The 350x has a full pktwt of 19.7 degrees....So by that said when u have the 400ex dyna plugged into the 350x...sure it will plug right in.. But when your rpms hit the 3700 line your 350x will be getting false signal... because the dyna box is looking for signal but there is nothing to pick up at that degree of timing! 8 degrees doesn’t seem like a lot on paper but it’s a big jump on the rotor...
Just a note I am only comparing stock map to stock map... if you look at the other 2 maps dyna offers on there cdi boxes they advance a lot faster....
So are you willing to plug something into your machine that might not be making it run properly...Sure it might run, but what’s the longevity going to be like... not to mention the performance
this is just what i have found out by talking with companys tech guru's like msd and dyna...and many more
