Gas Tank Condoms

What do you guys think about these? Does anyone out there have one? Do they look geeky? The paint on my tank is a little worse for the wear and this is cheaper than a new paint job, decals, etc.

I am going to write a post here in about a month step by step paint for the poor boy still cost a little bit but nothing like a pro job it wont stand up to pro quality either the only people I have ever had criticise my paint have been pretty darn good painters, and spend a hellava lot of cash on spray gun. mine- 14.95 works great any how dont want to piss anyone off I,m sure these would be real handy to protect your high dollar paint job I just repaint every coupla years.

But i think you need to buy mine, it looks like the factory tank.
As a matter of fact, i bought it from that Nascar8fan guy on ebay, but i never used it.
I paid $50 for it a couple of months ago, and i had to fight for it.

my only problems are nobody shows what they look like on a tank... hmmmmmmmmm
and what about moisture if you don't take it off on a regular basis you might pull it off on time and find you don't have a tank under it any more (u know that rust thing)

that would be my concern as well. plus every time you got muddy you'd have to take it off and clean it. it might be ok for a tank that's already thrashed though.
