what are you talking about? are you upset that he didn't use the trail bike set up? imo, the 250r chassis is one of the best frames to choose for a conversion, if not a custom frame.

Well, there's nothing wrong with a 350x, but:
- It's heavier than the R.
- The R's suspension is way better in stock form.
- The R already has radiators.
- I love the R's look.
- "Go fast" goodies for the R can be borrowed from the TRX and are plentiful.
- It is stronger.
And a few other things. But mainly I already had it here and the frame it's in great condition, so its only natural that I use it since it was just sitting here.
I think this project it's coming along great. The FLUIDYNE radiators are almost completly mounted and they look great. I hope they do a better job than the R's (which I'm sure they'll do). There's been some minor set-backs, which all projects of this nature have. The kick starter problem it's almost finished too, just need some welding finished. I'll be ordering the silencer next since it has been a problem for me because I can't decide between a LEXX for a CRF250R or a TRX450R stock muffler.
But progress it's slowly beeing made. Keep watching.
Your suggestions and opinions are always welcomed
