83 250R Help

I am almost finished assembling a 83 250R that I bought in pieces and I need some help. I have no springs for the exhaust and was wondering if there was anywhere to get ones that would work other than at my local Honda dealer who wants over $10 EACH! I also got a new front sprocket as there wasn't one in the box of parts that came with it. What holds it on the splined part coming out of the engine?

The springs aren't easy to come by, maybe ask round here. Otherwise retro fttng is the name of the game if your not going to Honda. The sprocket should have a keeper that rotates slightly then bolts to the two holes in the sprocket itself.

You could always go to someplace like Fastenal and try to find some springs that will work. All the are are tension springs, right?
