I am rebuilding 250r Honda literally from the ground up . I have 1 part left to purchase ( that I know of ). will exhaust pipe chamber of an 85-86 model work on my' 83 ?

Nope not with out fabrication...

Way more fab work than you can imagine! The 83-84 ran the pipe on the left side. The 85-86 ran them on the right side. The tuned length, volume, and dimensions are very different.

The good news is, you usually don't have to pay over $120 on ebay for a sweet sectional pipe for an 83-84 and there's less competition for it than say an 85-86R.
