I have had some luck with water, about 50psi but this to can go south on you, with the slower and lower pessure you can monitor its progress a little better, air is to quick for me

Depends on how bad the dent is. My 200S had a dent on top and a dent on either side of the tank. I actually used a piece of 2X2 lumber and slowly popped the dents out. This probably only works when there are no creases, etc. in the metal. The dents were caused by a bad starter, bad temper, and size 10 boots! It may not look perfect when done, but it will look better and regain it's capacity. I am also refinishing mine. Going with the Kreme tank liner and found a red spray paint to closely match. WIll do numerous coats, wet sanding, and buffing to get it back to like new.

heat up the area with a hair dryer, and then apply some dry ice, the rapid change in surface temperature will cause the dent to expand back to it's original shape.

Or....put water in it and put it inthe freezer.

If it is a crease, you will need to do bodywork.
Dent pullers where you spot weld little rods on, and use a weighted puller work the best, but take an expert.
