In my opinion water cooled better, can find more parts ,faster.its my choice.....
But our air cooled is way more fun when doing wheelies. But they are cheaper for the most part but un all both are good choices.

My wife 84 starts first kick everytime even after sitting awhile but mine on the other hand likes to be messed with. Power hers runs pretty strong and one 84 I just reserected runs even harder. Front end is a lot lighter due to no rads. If you like to putt around and play little more air cooled.. if want speed go water cooled.

i just like climbing hills and messing around at the pits. i think an air would be fine for me.

both are fine machines if maintained. i like the water cooled as they are a bit larger. some like the air cooled more. i would think you can get an air one for 500 bucks less than a water one. that is if they are in good condition. but the water is way worth the extra scratch in my opinion. but you know what they say about opinions...
