How do you repair cracked cooling fins

Cooling fins on the engine. I remember seeing a article on this somewhere but don't remember where or what it said. I wonder if JB weld would work or do they have to be welded. Anybody know? Thanks :confused:

If you can get it welded i would go that way. JB weld is not a good heat trasferer. it will leave a hot spot on the cylinder do to lack of cooling were fins were JB welded on.

OK, I just called a welder and he said to bring it down Friday and he would take a look. Thanks for the advice.:)
