ive read that the 85 200x's forks are air adjustible.what does this mean? do i use the bicycle style air valves on top of the forks? if so what pressures should i stay between so i dont blow out a fork seal? i would like to find out more about this.any sugesstions are helpfull.

You are correct, you put the air in the valve stems on the top of the shocks. The max pressure is 10 psi. I prefer to use a little tube type bicycle pump (the one that you carry when riding, clipped to the bicycle frame) so that I can put the air in slow. The amount of air is your preference, try different amounts and see what you like.

ok before i posted the first question i bled the air out of the forks. not good, the fork seals are weeping. on my rm125 these are bleeders and have no ajusting value, before u ride your supposed to equalize pressure.if i put air back into the forks would this solve the weeping problem? also is there a company that still produces skid plates for a 85 200x. the stock one is gone and i dont like how the rear sproket and disc is hanging out in the open ready to get waffled a rock.thanx again...

sounds like you need new fork seals. I wouldn't run more than 5psi in the forks just to play it safe with the seals. good luck!

wHAT SORT OF PRESSURE HAVE YOU GUYS THAT OWN TRI-Z'Z GOT IN YOUR FORKS (85 & 86,NEED TO KNOW FOR BOTH?)ALSO I WAS TOLD TO USE A SMALL HAND OR FOOT PUMP AND NOT TO USE COMPRESSED AIR AS IT WILL CONTAIN MOISTURE,THEREFORE WOULD RUIN THE INNER OF THE FORKS
THANKS
