I've got a tank cleaned up and it's got a couple of leaks. I'd like to use one of the tank sealants but am confused about what to do about the fuel taps. Most of the processes suggest removing the petc0ck, but what do you do on a 70 tank?

Bring it to a radiator shop.

Shove pipe cleaners in the pipes once the stuff starts setting up and getting thick, pull them out.

This is the stuff I used to coat my 250R tank. They suggest a burst of air through the orifice.
I liked this stuff, because the whole process was much easier and less mess. Mixes and seals as a clear substance, rather than that thick, milky look of the other brand.

Can't go wrong with Caswell.Iv'e done alot of tanks with it and have had good results.Just read the directions and mix correctly.Only other is heat up the inside of tank some with a heat gun.It will flow alot faster.

After seeing what I pulled out of Scotts tank at St. Joes I'd be scared to use it. But then again the tank may not have been prepped right to begin with.
