good deal on 86 200x or not

I recently found a guy that has a 86 200x that he ran low on oil. after refilling the oil he noticed it had a knock and he tore it down to discover slop in the connecting rod. he has bought a new crank pin/piston,rings,rod,bearings, and bored the cylinder. he now has bought a 350x and lost interest in the 200x. the axle is shot and it is missing the rear brakes. the asking price is $300, what do you think?? it seems a little high to me but i am not sure how much all those new parts cost.
