my $21 performace upgrade for my 87 250sx

got a 250x carb on the bay for 21 bucks....
soaked it and cleaned, got the axcelerater pump working. and bolted her up.
it made a huge bump in power..:burnout: now just have to tune it. its running a little lean.

good job. why couldnt you do that to the original? 250x one bigger?

Could you go into a little more depth? Sounds like a direct bolt up and what up about the throttle cable? I need to order a rebuild kit for my 250sx but might do what you did instead.
