81-84 250r or 83-85 200x which is better?

i have both and i only plan to rebuild one of them. i like hall azz and fly high but i also liek to hit the mud. which will be better?

I Would say the 83 and 84 250R would be the best. Depending on your weight it may be a toss up between the 81-82 250R and the 200X's.

Which is better depends on how you look at it. The 250r no matter what year is going to be faster then a 200x. But being a two stroke it is going to need more care then a four stroke 200x. They both have pretty nice suspension. So i guess it just depends on weither you want to give up riding time to go faster.

i have been riding it on and off all night!! it is getting better about the bog. i think the carb is still gummy. i plan to soak it in chemtool in the morning. that should take care of it.
