86 250r reed cage

Quick ??? I just bought a new VF3 off ebay. I noticed that the part # on the box is for a CR250. The opening is smaller than the stock unit. Could this choke the intake some? Can i just open it up some with the Dremel or leave it be? Thanks.

neither one of those are STOCK. the smaller opening creates more velosity, the other one is a cr cage too,

What do you suggest? Just keep the VF3 the way it is? Thanks.
