Could someone please help me with the vin numbers?
Supposedly an '82 185
vin: JH3TBO500CC137851
Possibly 250r
vin: JH3TBO600CC116782
I bought a new plug, removed old gas, cleaned out carb, filled tank with new oil/gas mix and started the 250. It ram fairly weel, took it for spin around the block, anooyed the neighbors with the loud 2 stroke sound but hey, that's why they live so close right?
I can't wait to get it all fixed up and take it out for some serious riding. I would also like to get the 185 fixed for the wife so we can do a family ride sometime in the near future.
Are there any good parts catalogs or sites to start picking up fix-it stuff for these bikes? I need to get rubber pieces, cables, chains, sprockets, stickers, suspension parts both stack and aftermarket.
Any suggestions as to a very quiet close to stock exhaust system? I am looking to fix these bikes up close to stock for now.
Thanks for your help. I really enjoy your site!
