plug question?

i go through plugs a lot they foul out with carbon. i know there is an adjustment on the carb but i dont know which screw it is help

there'll be more to it than just a screw. If your trike is all stock then it probably isn't the jets (unless they're worn out). The idle passages in the carb get gummed up over time. You can try soaking it for a long time in chemdip and blowing it out well, but that doesn't always work. Try it first though.

what is the pilot screw for. isnt it my air fuel mixture?

the pilot is for idle air mixture ie. 0 to 1/8 throttle and dan's right you've got dirty air passages or a filter in need of a bath.
