I need some measurement # if you can?

Between an 85 200x and 86.........
I Am able to pull my head without pulling my motor on the 86 200x. And am under the impression you cannot do this on the earlier Models. If this is true Then is the frame on the 86 200x bigger? Or a smaller engine? If the frame is smaller on the 85 200x those of you that have the 85 could you please tell me the measurement of the inside frame where motor mounts. I would do this myself but do not own the 85. Sorry for dumb question.... thanx Jen

The frame on the 86/87 is a little bigger and has a different design. The 83-85 has a single down tube on the frame and the 86-87 has a dual down tube like a 250r.

As far as the motor goes. The motor is actually taller on the 86-87 motors.
