'85-'86 250r wiring harness

I am having problems with my wiring harness. Does anyone know where I can get either the harness itself or a wiring diagram to fix the one I have?

I took it apart to fix a few dry rotted wires, when I put it back together, I must have done something wrong, all the wires are too short, and I somehow lost the ground wire.

Check Ebay? I've seen quite a few complete wiring harnesses listed. Just a thought...

keep in mind that the 85 and 86 harness are two different things. the cdi plugs are different. i would buy a new one thru service honda, the last time i looked they were about $50. i don't care how good a used one looks it's still corroded and you'll be buying yourself more problems. there's been some good rightups on this subject at macdizzy.com from teamgeek6

Thanks for the help guys. I tried service honda and several other dealers, the harness is discontinued and apparently there are none in stock in the country. Currently nobody makes one that will work. I did talk to a guy at Cal-ATV ( a great source of 250r new and used parts) and he said they were trying to get a used one to use as a model to make new ones, but they won't be set up for a month or so for that, and the new ones will be about $150!
