I recently purchased a350x, which has no rear brakes. the guy told me it just needed pads. after installing the new pads,(the old ones were gone),still no brakes. Bleeding didnt help either.Im wondering if there is another problem. Any help would be great.

Possibly the master cyclinder (thing by the foot peg) isn't building pressure or the piston in the caliper is seized (the most common problem) When you were bleeding them, was fluid shooting out or just dribbling out? If it was shooting out it was building pressure just fine. My '85 350x piston was froze in the caliper too, so I took the caliper off, you'll see two bolts that are on the parking brake side of the caliper, remove them and you should see a small round thing sticking out a little ways. On the other side take off the brake pads. If I remember I used a C clamp and put it on the brake pad side of the piston and compressed it back into the caliper. I then gently tapped the small round thing on the parking brake side of the caliper. Keep working it back and forth until it gets easy and then take the piston out and clean every thing up real good. I sprayed wd-40 on the piston when I was working it back and forth to help it slide out easier.
