View Full Version : For all you fiero lovers
This is my 85 gt fiero, it consisits of a full roll cage, skid plates, reinforced suspension, 5 pt harness, light bar, 2 inch metal bars that go around the entire car for damage support. And to top it off a 4 spd 4:10 gear munchie tranny equipped to a powerful engine:hail:

Would that be the Caddy engine with the aluminum block and iron heads? If so, I feel sorry for you. I'm not even gonna list the reasons why. Get an Olds Toronado 455/TH425 in there...
Or better yet... A 1970 Cadillac Eldorado 500/TH425 in there... Mmm.... 550 ft.lbs in a fiero...

I understand where you coming from the aluminum block 94 seville/deville 4.9 pfi motor doesnt have alot of hp, around 225 right now but a ton of torgue and when you have that engine in a little car its hauls @$$. As for the caddy 500 i fell like living past my 18th birthday:D. Installing one of these motors in this car is not hard it just takes patients. When do the stickers come out?

Dude, you should get one of those Lamborghini kit car bodies to put on it. hehehe. Only problem is, most of them you have to stretch the frame on.
Actually i was looking at a ferrai (sp) 355 kit on ebay a while back that went for 1800 bucks and it was complete. To stretch the frame just hack, lenghten and reweld, its a lot easier than it sounds thou it is labor intinsive.

Hey 250r - nice Fiero! I nearly bought an '84 a few years ago but it wasn't a GT - I think it was an SE? Who knows? Anyway, I've always liked the Fiero's, despite the bad rap they got, and I've always got my eye out for a nice one (cheap, of course!). My fav's were definitely the later model GT's. They were one of they coolest looking sportscar's you could buy at the time they were new - at least in my opinion, anyway. :D
Good luck with yours! I would love to see more pics! :headbang:
Regards,
Sean
I just had it painted, fresh 350 in it with eldebrock rpm 415 hp kit, lookin good and running strong, all i have to do now is wait til my legs heal so i can drive:D
