73 mercury powerd by a ford 429 v8, What u do?

though im not fond of ford, i inherited a 73 mercury broughm its hella big like a darn ship,lol , but i do love big v8 moters, and this thing does only have 126.thousand miles on it 'original' the cars in ok condition , i mean in side is reall good its full power, down to the seats, but the out side is embarising, it was hit by a tow truck not bad but noticable. im thinkin of putin the moter in like a 69 cougar, ;i wonder if it would fit;? i still think mt chevy truck w/a 350 v8 5.7 liter could dust it . but i wounder. what if i did put that 429 in a differnt car. i think im talkin HOT ROD. lol yeah thats what ide like to do, or maby i should try and restore this big ass 4 door. what do u ppl think????????????????:headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

restore it! 4 doors are road kings, plus with those big motors you can sneak up on some imports. ;) check out one of mine.

is it a 4 door, or 2 door? If 2 door, I'd say restore it, espacially with that 429 big block. But with all that horsepower i suggest getting a bullit proof tranny and rear end. The 73 tbird i had with the 429 just ate trannys, and tires:headbang: one of these big cars on the open road is cruising.

If its a 4 door get ya a early model ford pick-up and slap that 429 in it, or a cougar would me nice, and it will fit with the proper headers, and the right inginuity. wish i still had that 429, put it in a 59 panel wagon and sold it.:doh:

hay what u call them rims and will thay only fit oldsmobile??? im gonna go ahead and restore this tank! think ill start with a tune up and worry bout the body later!,lol ,. and when all is said an done in the end, if i decide to sell it ill by a fleet of trikes to add to my colection. and still have cash for another project im thinkin lincoln,or better yet pontiac,
