I just got an '83 200X and it seems to foul plugs? It doesn't smoke, bog down or anything. However, my wife who is learning to ride, often stalls/floods the bike and the plugs look a bit wet? Any suggestions or are we just facing a bit of growing pains while learning to ride?
Thanks,

most older ATVs have this problem. the passages inside the carb get clogged up over time. sometimes cleaning it our really well will fix it, sometimes nothing short of a new carb will.
it might also be due to worn jets. You could try that as well. good luck!

It`s also not that uncommon on these four strokes if you stall them to flood them really easy. On mine when ever i am restarting when the engine is warm. I push the throttle down about half way. And then kick it. If you just keep kicking it with out giving it gas. It gets to much fuel and not enough air. Because the engine dosnt require nearly as much fuel when its warm as it dose when you are starting cold. And all it takes is for a spark plug to get wet once and it shorts out and fouls. So try that next time and see if it helps at all.
