Has anyone out there in three-wheeler land rebuilt a rear shock lately for 85-86 250r?I could use as much info on it as I can get.May just buy another but then might have the same problem with the next one.Or if some one has rebuilt one they could post a thread on how to for the rest of us.Thanks much

I don't think it's for the do-it-yourselfer. There's high pressure nitrogen in that reservior. You can get it rebuilt and revalved for under $200.

The shock I has leaked all the nitrogen out of it since the seals are blown.Either way the nitrogen bottle will need a charge after the shock is rebuilt. The local motorcycle charges $16 to fill it and wants a pretty penny to rebuild it.So I was going to rebuild it and then take it to get charged.
