Does anyone know if there is a company that makes or will make a frame for the 85-86 ATC250R so you could use another motor like the CRF450? Or even possibly just convert the stock frame. I have a good rolling chasis without a motor and was considering putting a modern 4-stroke motor to make a modern trike.

i know that nicholson use to build race frames back in the day,, but i haven't seen one in 15 years and don't think anyone will ever build one now,,,, a 350x has the largest engine of all three wheelers maybe that would be the only choice for a modern newer 4 stroker that i see today,,,,,,,,

noone makes aftermarket frames for atc's. you can make almost any motor fit into a frame with a bit of modification. the single most important factor is aligning the output sprocket with the rear sprocket. then just cut and weld. voila!!!
