I have a 82 250R and I wondered if the master cylinder is blown will it still pump brake fluid? but not move the caliper piston?

if it's blown then it won't work so how could it move the caliper piston? :ugh:  :p :D

well if the seals in the master cylinder are worn. when I bleed the brakes every once in a while when I pump the brakes a drop of fluid drops on the ground from the mastercylinder. when I crack the bleeder fluid comes out and air. then just fluid but the piston does not move. is the master cylinder bad? the piston did move but then it stopped when it touched the rotor. I thought that was weird so I pushed the piston back in now it is stuck in.

Usally a drop of fluid coming out of the master is pretty common. The main thing on a master is that if you bleed it out and get all the air out. Close the bleeder and push down the brake pedal and hold it down. If it holds and dosnt start going down slowly then your master is probable fine. If it dosnt feel like any pressure there. Or the pedal does start going down. It is time to get a rebuild kit for the master.
