125 Motor

[ATC_250SX]

Hello i have a Honda atc 125 motor but im trying to figure out if it is a 125 or a 125m. here are a few things it has.
Electric Start
Reverse
Cylinder looks like a 200.
Has an oil filter.( my 200 and 110 dont)
And the number on the motor is TEO1E-2200210
any help would be great. thanks alot

That is a 84 125m. The 110 never came with electric start. And the 125 should be the only horizontal motor with electric start.

Your welcome. But i just noticed on your first post you said something about reverse?. According to the numbers it is a 84 125cc motor. But if it had reverse it is not a 125m motor. Maybe a 125 out of a quad or something. I dont think any of the 125m`s had reverse.

yeah i called a local guy near me that know s theese like the back of this hand he said it was eather an 86 or 87 125 3 wheeler motor or an 87 guard motor, both rare whare i am, but hes still interested in it.

im geussing an 86 125m, its also really rare here. i have one but it needs new plastic. i havent seen a 87 so i dont know what was different on them, but im preety sure that the only ones with reverse where the 86 and 87's.

Your local guy was right. I looked it up and 86 and 87 125m had reverse. Learn something new every day:doh: . Congrat`s. That should make that motor pretty valuable:headbang: :headbang:
