84 200x carb vs. 200s carb. wahts different?

i would assume seeing how there not 200cc's they would be the same but i could be wrong but the honda shop can tell you and there may be a large diffrence in the carbs i know the 200 carb has a slide and the cable pulls right from the top of the slide. dont know about the 200x though. good luck.

The carbs are a little different but they will interchange. The carb for the 200s is 22mm the carb for a 83/85 200x is 24mm. Other wise they look identical.

The vortex (air intake) is a little bigger on the 200x thats all i have found so fare. Having a differance in compression reshow
may change fuel intake, when switched.

they are not the same but will interchange the X has a bigger bore and a brass slide,and you can change the jets without taking the carb off. the S has a disposable carb.there are parts of this carb that cannot be cleaned even if you soak them.so when they go bad your suppose to replace them. the biggest differance is the Tcable. on the X the adjustment is on the thumb control where on the S it is on top of the carb.so if you use the X carb use the X control.I had to change mine when i put the X carb on my S bike, it was no big deal, but if you don't use the X control it will not open the carb all the way. you need that adjustment
