is it or would it be possible to put a electric starter on, or a kick-starter on a 1984 200S, im tired of pulling that dam cord, and hurting my back in the processes.

There is a company i think they were call goki that made electric start kits for trikes. But they were pretty spendy.
You could look for a 200m tranny and put your top end on it and make a battery box for it.
Or just keep your eyes open for a 125m,200m,200e,200es, Any one of them had electric start.

The 200s and m trikes were pretty much the same. I do know that the M models had a small indent in the lower part of the down tube to clear the starter motor. You should check to see that the S model has the same before attempting the switch.

I agree i think the indent could be reproduced with a hammer but i dont know if any strenght of the frame would be comprimised in the process.
And the 200x motor would bolt in there and give you kick start. But i dont know if the kick starter would hit on anything in a 200s frame.

200s/m tried with his 200m electric start and it wouldnt fit.
P.S. I saw some ads in dirtwheels for not goki starters didnt apear all that expensive.

I dont think there would be any place to put a battery box on a 200s, because the place where the battery goes on the 200m frame has a plate covering it on the 200s. If you are interested I have a 1984 200m frame I would sell cheap. I don't know if everything from the 200s would bolt up or not.

You could also mout it on the solid swingarm, behind the tranny. It's solid and flat. Would just have to cover the batt.
