kx/kdx vs 85 t3 ignition and other parts

what year can i take the ignition system from a kx and put it on my 85 t3? i need a stator and flywheel so i may as well up grade. i do not care about a headlight.

what other parts fit?

On the KDX: it will have a bigger flywheel and stator than the KX/T3. Remember with a bigger flywheel the engine won't rev up as quick but will be less stall prone. Go on Kawasaki's website and find the parts diagrams. They have all their bikes on there. It's underneath vehicle info. You can search and compare:thumbsup:

the stator/flywheels are the same for 84-87 so any of those will work. you really ought to just run the stock setup for rickystator.com. I doubt you will notice the power difference & you will save big $$$.
