350x inspection

I have the opportunity to purchase a 350X. I need to know what type of things to look at. I think i heard of the frames cracking in certain spots, and is there any way to check the cam journals by listening to it run? Are there any particularily expensive, hard to find parts that I should look at specifically? Thanks for the info, I will post pics and info for others if I dont buy it.

check the rear axle for play. rear beaing carriers are a couple hundred. also check the steering head bearing for slack. when you ride it see if it feels like it loses power top end...if it's all bottom end then it could be worn cam lobes.

Dan10: you were going to let me know about any 350x's you found I thought???

The frames might crack on the left side above the above the foot peg where the motor mount attaches to the vertical frame. Also check back by the seat latch and where the tail light bolts onto the frame. Bad fork seals are another common problem.
