My manual says I need a puller to remove this part, but I don't have one, and I want to get this done today. What else can I use for a puller that won't mess anything up?

If you have a 200x swing arm bolt it will thread into the hole and pop the fly wheel off.

the puller is a 12 dollar bolt that theads into the flywheel and pushes it off, I'm not sure what size it is though.. Try to find a bolt that with thread, and not strip out the threads in the flywheel...

So I should go take apart the swing arm and use that bolt?

Yep...if the swing arm bolt will come out, 200x's are kind of known to have the bolt rust to the bushings/bearings inside the swing arm and it won't come out. You might also try the front axle, but I don't know if thats the same or not. If you do get the swing arm bolt out just put a long rod in its place for the time being, then put the bolt back in when your done with it.
