atc 90 110 125 people i need help

was wondering if you guys could measure the pullstart basket on your trike. tryin to do a little cross ref (like always) so could you state your year, model of trike and tell me

-outside diameter (largest point)
-inside dia (where the teeth grab the holes)
-the distance from mount hole to mount hole across the center
-distance from hole to hole on each side
-number of holes for teeth (dogs) to fit into
-backspacing from flywheel to furtherst out (spacers, with/without)
-hole width

any of this will help so please help me so i can help you! ill post my comparisons.

ok people, since no one is responding (HELPING) i try to make it easyer.

i figured out that the partnumbers for the 200 185 (pullstarts) and such are the same. not sure about the 110 and 90 and 125 but should be same also. think there 3 different closed top baskets, 1 for the 70, 1 for 125 110 90, and 1 for 200s 185s and so on.

still need help though cuties!!

81 atc 185s,185,200,and 200e are the same.
82-83 200s,185 and 200 same.
200es and 200m same.
do not know about the 110, 90 or 70 but i would guess not because the eng is smaller.

hmmm, does that mean 90-110 have bigger basket or smaller? i wonder if theyll swap even with the differnt part numbers (example: will work, just slight different spacing that can be corrected with washers or spacers.)

110 and 90 are larger then 70. as far as 110 and 90 interchangin i dont know...which basket do you need? by the way I still havnt measured sorry.

Dave forgive me but I have a dumb question......What exactly is the basket the recoil cover or the inside part?? I have both the 70 and 110 recoil cover on my table w/tape measure ready to be measured just walk this airhead thru it...Jen

no no its ok jen. its a pretty vague question. i think basket it a name i made up for this part because it kida looks like it.

the basket im thinking of is the one the bolts to the flywheel. its just a stamped peice of metal with holes on the walls, where the teeth from the pullstart go into to rotate the engine.

thats great you have both the 110 and 70! wow thats exactly what im lookin for. want to see the difference. can you tell just by looking at them that they wont fit?

You know I had a feeling thats what your talking about....anyway yes the 70 is significantly smaller..basically it will sit inside the 110 basket..Do you want exact measurements?

damn, na thats ok. how bout the depth? is the 110 deeper? will the 70 pull start teeth grab the basket of the 110?

Dave in all honesty I dont believe you would be able to fit the 2 together at all......and even with some real fancy jerry riggin..Which recoil are you after the 70 or 110?

baaaaa nevermind but thanks for all the help though. lost cause. was tryin to see if i bought a 110 basket i could use it (with mods) so i could put it in the 70. i cant find 70 baskets anywhere!! dealer wants like $33 for it ($33 my a.ss for a GD stamped peice of metal) so f-that.
