I just finished ordering a new exhaust. I was going to go with the less expensive (cheaper?) DG Steel, but they were out, so they are going to give me the alloy for the same price. These are more expensive, so I guess I'm getting a bargain, but was wondering if there are any drawbacks to the alloy, such as strength and maintenance issues, and are they hard to keep clean?
Also, how do you, or can you, remove and reinstall the spark arrestor on these pipes?

on my system there is a set screw and a snap ring on the end. this is to take the core out. ive never had it out but the spark arrestor should be held on by screws or just slides on somehow. as for the alloy or steel. if u ever break a mount off or have to weld on it it will ruin the finish. im assuming that its an alloy finish, but still thats something youll have to think about.
