clutch cable on a 350x

i bought a new clutch cable and cant figure out how it installs, plz plz help

thread the thing on the lever pertch in all the way, hook the cable into the lever, then go to the other end of the cable, pull the pertch forward with a pliers or something and hook the cable into it there. if the lever has lots of play in it you need to adjust the cable.

What year is your 350x? the cable on the 85 goes down the right side of the bike( sittin no it) the86 goes down the left side and through the motor. Hope this is what you were lookin for,good luck.
