Both 85 and 86 model stock Keihin carbs have the same measurement? Float level is 16mm or 0.63 inch. That measurement should be made just as the float tip contacts the float valve.

look in that air cooled 250r manual you have of mine. it is not the correct carb but it is a keihin carb and shows how to do it.:D
