ok, so i'm an idiot. I threw all the bearings from my steering stem away (85 350x), thinking that they were supposed to be encased in something and I would just buy the set. From the diagrams on bikebandits, it looks like I just have to buy a handfull of ball bearings and put in there? If so I am sure I can find them much cheaper than 57 cents a piece. What have you guys done before?

sounds like your phuct? why did you throw them away?
well for starters we do not thruogh out good bearings.:D
I think you can get tapered roller bearings for it. you can for other trikes. I think Dennis kirk. They are much better than ball.

thanks i will check dennis kirk.
I threw them away because I thought that they were sealed and that they came apart when I took the steering stem apart. Had I known the bearings were loose I certainly would not have thrown them out.

Bayougrizz already sent me a money order for the bearings. The only 350x part i have is an extra triple clamp for the forks.
I need a few parts myself.
