I wouldn't have any luck at all!
I started tearing into my 200es rearend the other day. I've been trying for almost a week, and I still can't pull the axle out. She's seized in there pretty good. And to add insult to injury, the dumb clymer manual doesn't tell you anything about replacing the rear end bearings, it just tells you how to replace the bearing in the brake drum cover, not the actual rear end bearings. So IF I can get the axle out, I'll have to take the rear end to one of our popular communist honda dealers to get the bearings put it.
Think that's bad? I tore into my 250r to put in new swingarm bearings, just to find out the pivot bolt is seized. So I'll have to cut it out, and buy a new bolt for $85. If that isn't bad enough, I need to get my rear shock rebuilt since it's leaking oil, I need all new shock linkage dust seals, AND I found out my rear axle bearings are bad. I also need new clutch plates and springs, which won't be cheap either.
Fun, fun, fun. :yup:
