My friend just gave me a 84' ATC 200s and i had to get the pull start assembly.. i got it today and on the bike side there are 4 bolts not holding anything in and the pull starter does not grab on to anything? Whats the deal, am i missing a piece that those 4 bolts should be holding on?

lol youre missing the basket that bolts to that! i had the same problem with my atc70 because i cant find any. its this circle thing that has rectangle holes on the walls of it, so the teeth can grab. youres is easy to find, check ebay for "atc200s recoil" or something like that. try words like pulley or starter. parts should only be like $10 tops. its only a stamped peice of metal that has holes in it.
good luck

heres one that will work. dont pay that much though. ive seen one on there end with no bidders for like $0.49. this ones a lot for somereason. worst comes to worst, you can order one from dennis kirk for $13 brand new.
if you dont have an ebay account i might be able to help you out with that no charge accept for the item and shipping. not creepy like i seem, im kinda outwardly because a LOT of people on this board right now are helpin me (serious help, you know who your are ;) shhhhh) and just like to give a lil back.
