Oil pump chain

okay we figured out what the problem was, the oil chain came off and hit the timing chain causing it to jump, anyways my question is can i buy a link for that chain(same size as timing chain) or do i have to buy a new one??

You might have to try calling a honda dealer and see if they make maters links for it. Or maybe check out www.partsfish.com and see if they show a master link for it.

That part is only $16 at bikebandit..So with shipping it will prob cost around $20. I would then just go to a Honda Dealer Or call. If you need the part # it is on partsfish Hidden in second popup window address. Just click on that part a second window pops your part # is there. You can then also price this at service honda but they are SLOW with shipping. I would at $20 just buy new.
