when I installed new fork seals in my 350x i installed new boots
just remove bolts in tripple clamp also might remove brake lever
(resivour,..my spelling stinks...lol) just unbolt it from handle bar
and that should be about it,you can remove forks...
might not have to remove brake, etc if you don't move forks very far from triple clamps...
I hope this makes sense....LOL

1-put a jack or whatever under the engine guard
2- remove bolts on triple clamp
3-remove forks
4-install new rubber boots
5-reinstall
thats basically it ;)

it's not hard at all. like they said, just jack up the trike, loosen the bolts, and drop the forks down out of the clamps so you can slide on the boots. if you've got aftermarket boots then expect to have to use a couple of extra zip-ties to keep them on right.

After taking off the front wheel (with the front end off the ground, of course,) loosen the nuts (bolts?) on the top & bottom clamps until the fork slides out. Since you've gone that far, might as well grease the ball bearings in the steering head. Now that will make it feel like you've done something when you're finished.
