View Full Version : wobbly wheels, how to fix? or just change rims

if a wheel is wobbly due to the rim being bent at the hub mounts, can you fix it? can you change three wheelr tires yourself? i have a spare set of rims that i could swap them to if that is not too hard.

If the bead is rusted on its a real pain in the arss. but if not you can deflate them and knock one side off bead and then just use a tire iron to get them off. or pay to price and have a shop do it with a bead breaker. Or if all else fails... JUST RUN EM.

yeah my father dose that with a ramp you know the wooden ones that you put the kits on the ends. it usually works pretty good
but sometimes goes through the sidewall! it can be a bad thing:doh:

I heard of people driving their cars over the edge of the trike tire to break the bead.
Less chance of ripping a sidewall with another sidewall I guess :confused:
