my serial number is JH3 TB050 0 C C 104388
so does this mean i have a 82 honda 200

yes it is definately an 82, I'm not sure about the 200 part from the VIN

Yes it is a 200 frame. The 050 stood for a 200. A 051 would be a 200e bigred.

thanks the guy i bought it from told me it was a 84 and another guy told me it was a 83 so now i know

If you get the numbers off on the engine itself it helps to narrow down what year that is if it had been replaced at one time.

But a lot of times a 82 might not of been sold until 83 so people will assume it is a 83. So it always helps to get parts when you know for sure what you have.
