Making the 250sx utility sport in to a 250sx supper sport

This is a 200x front fork set up on a 250sx. In pic one you can see the new steering stop. I’m marking center so it will be on striate.

the steering stop is in place, sitting on a 3/16 th thick pease of gasket for clearance.

I put a plastic bag under the head so I do not have to chase bearing all over the shop floor. I know I’m just lazy. The trike is on a crate so the tire is off the floor.

stop all welded on you can see what is left of the SX stop. Also I have to weld two peases of 1/8 th inch flat stock one to each side of the stop because the X has a little more turning raidios than the SX gas tank will allow.

This is the SX steering stop all removed.
