hello, i just bought a 28 mm carb for my 200x and am wondering if it will benefit me putting it on with basically a stock engine, other than a cobra pipe and uni filter? it is flat slide mikuni carb. thanks, 200x driver

I would think it should make a difference. You allready have a after market pipe and a uni filter so it should be able to breath good.

But i would jet it down quite a bit. maybe get one of them 5 jet kits from DK and keep reading the plug until you find the right jet for your engine setup.

as a note, if you buy a used 28 take a good look at the slide for wear cause a new one is $41. i just got mine so i can see what a 2.5 is like versus a 4. i'll post after i try it.
